The Gina Beauty suite is an image analysis software package. Version 4.10 is free to use and can be downloaded from the following page, complete with online documentation and a few sample faces. For those who are professional or wannabe lookalikes, tribute artists, fans of "I want a Famous Face", "Extreme Makeover" or just curious, this is the software for you.

Gina uses biometrics to find similarities between one face and any other face from a series of facial data. It does this by comparing individual features, points and general facial geometry, so is therefore able to pick out a lookalike from a range of faces, very quickly even on a low-spec PC. There are 150 sample faces available to download on the Data page of this site, which are rotated and updated at times.

To try this software, you will need just the Gina software, Winzip and around 10Mb of HD space. To create your own data, you will need a paint package such as Adobe Photoshop, MS Paint , Fireworks or Paint Shop Pro. A digital camera or scanner may also be useful. No registration is necessary at all and there are no 30-day limitations etc. The software is PC only, but the Help files are HTML and so can be read on a Mac. Other versions are planned for some time in the future.
