NB: Readers may also be interested to know Brill scramble and track is featured on and off throughout the 1973 film "A Warm December" starring Sidney Poitier as an international rider...From memory I vaguely recollect the scramble being real and Sidney Poitier just stopping in the foreground removing his goggles etc strategically spattered with mud. It isn't a totally staged Hollywood scramble as you hear proper riders' names over the Tannoy!! |
